Tottenham consider Crouch

Tottenham consider Crouch

10 November 2008 - 06:13

After Jermain Defoe announced he had no intention of making a return to Tottenham, it seems that Harry Redknapp may try his luck in bringing Peter Crouch to the club instead.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Redknapp is keen to bring in a target man at Spurs to link up with striker duo Darren Bent and Roman Pavlyuchenko.

The Tottenham coach knows Crouch well from his time at Portsmouth, and it is believed Spurs could make an offer in the region of £11 million to tempt Tony Adams' side into a quick sale.

Crouch spent a period at Spurs in his early years.
