Schuster: not enough respect

26 September 2007 - 15:39

Real Madrid's coach Bernd Schuster has rued the lack of respect shown to coaches in Spain's Primera Liga. Schuster has said manager's in Spain are not given enough time to prove their worth unlike coaches in England.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • "Coaches aren’t as respected here as they are in England. I think it would be very difficult for a coach to stay at the same club for 12 or 20 years in Spain.

"We would all like to do that because, naturally, we don’t like changing teams all the time, but this is practically impossible in Spain."
