New Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has apparently rejected the late interest of Manchester City to decide to move to the Emirates.
Gazidis left his post at the MLS to take control at Arsenal, where he will work closely with Arsene Wenger and will be responsible for player contracts, wages and other administration.
Gazidis will also work closely with the Frenchman in the transfer market.
He will begin his duties on the 1st of January 2009.
