Roman will back Chelsea spend

03 December 2008 - 08:39

Despite rumours that Chelsea will not be active in the January transfer window, there have been reports that Roman Abramovich has told Luiz Felipe Scolari he will back a move for any 'big player' when the window reopens.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • It is understood that Chelsea are on the look out for another striker to add to their squad, whilst many feel another defender would be a welcome addition to the Stamford Bridge squad.

Scolari is believed to have up to 20 million GBP to spend on new players available should he wish to adjust his squad.
