Kuyt says no to Juventus

Kuyt says no to Juventus

29 January 2009 - 16:59

Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt has shrugged off rumours suggesting his move to Italian giants Juventus in the summer.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Dirk Kuyt, a firm favourite of Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez, declared that he will not consider a move to Italian club Juventus in the summer. Juventus was reportedly interested in signing the hard working striker-midfielder who always have a great day in the champions league matches.

Kuyt had been a Kop faithful and is looking forward to stay at Anfield. Although he is the third choice striker Rafa always finds a place for him in the first team. He has quickly adapted in his secondary role as a right winger.

Liverpool might lose Keane because of tremendous pressure and speculation suggests that he might be back to Spurs. If Keane transfer is done, Kuyt will enjoy the striker position again partnering with Fernando Torres.
