01 May 2009 - 19:32

Manchester United youth starlet Federico Macheda could start the match against Middlesbrough in the weekend. The impressive Italian has scored two winning goals of Man Utd coming from the bench.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • Man Utd are enjoying a good run in the Premier League, a handful of young players impressing the boss. Sir Alex Fergusen has asked Danny Welbeck and Macheda to play against Boro, of which Macheda could start.

"They are both doing very well and they could be involved on Saturday," said Fergie.

Another youngster, Jonny Evans, who had already played many league games and champions league matches for Man Utd will also be featured in the match. He will fill for the injured Rio Ferdinand.
