It is thought that Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is eyeing a swoop for Aston Villa and England star Ashley Young.
Tottenham have been keen to add a quality left winger to their ranks for the past few seasons and it is thought that âArry views Young as the perfect man for the job.
Having deployed Luka Modric on the left for the past few months, it is thought that the Spurs gaffer is keen to add a genuine left winger to his side to add balance.
As the London side will not be forking out large transfer fees this summer, it is thought that a swap deal is the most likely with Jermaine Jenas and David Bentley heading to the Midlands.
Former Gunner Bentley has failed to settle in to the Spurs side after his 16 million pound move from Blackburn last summer, whilst Jenas has been eyed by Inter Milan and Villa boss OâNeill for the past 6 months.
Despite the promise of Europa League football at Villa, it is thought that Young is annoyed at the departure of Gareth Barry to Man City and could thus be tempted by a switch to the capital.
