Turkish giants Galatasaray are weighing up a January transfer swoop for Real Madrid's Brazilian striker Julio Baptista.

Bernd Schuster has offered Baptista an olive branch at Madrid, and the Brazilian has helped himself by scoring a great goal against Zaragoza in midweek.



However, it now appears that Galatasaray will attempt to prize away the Brazilian in January on loan or for a small fee.
