Tottenham are reportedly ready to make a bid for former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira this summer. It is understood that Harry Redknapp would offer Vieira a £35,000 a week deal to arrive at the Lane.

The move is sure to ruffle a few Arsenal fans' feathers as the French midfielder was one of the greatest players in the club's history, playing over 407 games for the Gunners.



Vieira however, is desperate to find a club to showcase his talents despite his maturing age of 33, and Tottenham could give him that shock opportunity.
