Blaise Matuidi is back on Arsenal's radar after another impressive season for St. Etienne in Ligue 1. The player is valued by his club in the region of 7 million GBP, and is desperate to join the Gunners.

Gilles Grimandi, the Arsenal scout, sends growing references back to Wenger on a monthly basis, and now the Gunners' boss is taking note as he looks to find a partner for Cesc Fabregas.



Bordeaux, Lille, and Monaco are also all interested in the midfielder, but St. Etienne are likely to earn more money from a sale to a Premiership club.



As yet, the Gunners have not made an offer for the player, but could make sound out their interest this week.
