Galatasaray sign Elano

Turkish giants Galatasaray have completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Elano from Man City on a four year contract. It is understood that Elano will join as part of a £7 million deal and arrived in Turkey this morning to thrash out personal terms.

Juventus and AC Milan had both been linked with a move for the Brazilian international, but now the Turkish side have wont he race for his signature.



The Brazilian international had joined Man City as part of Sven-Goran Eriksson's revolution from Shakhtar Donetsk, and was expected to quit the club after the arrival of some high profile players this summer.
