11 January 2010 - 17:16

According to reports from Russia, Guus Hiddink is on the verge of signing a deal with Juventus. The Dutchman has been allowed to leave his role with the Russian national team after failing to qualify for World Cup 2010.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Hiddink had been allowed to vacate the Russian post temporarily to manage Chelsea last year, and guided them to FA Cup glory.

Now Hiddink will take charge at the Old Lady.

A Russian sports minister revealed: "Hiddink can coach a club side. In the case of Chelsea, there were particular rapports with Roman Abramovich and we accepted, but I don't think things will change in this case."
