Lampard urges Chelsea star to stay

Frank Lampard has called on Joe Cole to ignore speculation about his future and sign and seal his new contract with the club. Cole's contract is due to expire at the end of the season with Chelsea.

Lampard said: "Joe's a fantastic player and I really hope we keep him, and I think that goes for everyone at the club," said Lampard.



"I don't know Joe's personal position with the club but I'm sure that the club want to keep him and the players want him to stay."
