Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is reportedly monitoring Fabrizio Miccoli, the former Italy international striker currently at Palermo.
The 5ft 6 striker has played at a variety of Italy's top clubs including Juventus and Fiorentina, but has not yet tried his luck in the Premiership.
