Jol hoping for Jenas

Jol hoping for Jenas

06 October 2007 - 01:15

Tottenham Hotspur manager Martin Jol is hoping midfielder Jermaine Jenas is fit for the trip to Liverpool for Sunday’s Premiership clash at Anfield. Aaron Lennon and Paul Stalteri are out for the crunch tie for Martin Jol.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Jenas missed Spurs’ games against Aston Villa and Anorthosis Famagusta with an abdominal strain, which he suffered against Middlesbrough.

"JJ didn't train today, but should train tomorrow and we're hopeful," Jol said after Friday's training session at Spurs Lodge.

"Aaron Lennon is still out with minor swelling on his knee and Paul Stalteri has a problem with his ankle, so he has to be a doubt."
