Manchester City will have to look elsewhere in their search for a new midfielder; Roma have told the Citizens that Daniele De Rossi is not for sale at any price and will stay at the club next year.
âI will not weaken the squad by selling De Rossi,â director of sport Walter Sabatini told Sky Sport Italia.
âHe said many times that he wants to stay and so we will certainly reach an agreement.â
De Rossi himself is said to be delighted that Roma have decided to keep the player; and is looking forward to working with new coach Luis Enrique next season.
