Woodgate leaves Tottenham

Jonathan Woodgate has officially left Tottenham. The former England international has not had a contract renewed at White Hart Lane and is now looking for a new club.

Some of the teams mentioned with a move for the defender include Fulham and Swansea; however eyefootball understands that Arsenal are weighing up a shock move for the 31-year old as well.

Woodgate has been dogged with injuries throughout his career, and decided to leave Spurs after they only offered him a pay-as-you-play contract.
