Tottenham eager to sell Bentley

Tottenham are desperately trying to sell David Bentley. Fulham had been linked with a 4m GBP offer for the former Arsenal midfielder, who spent last season on loan at White Hart Lane.

David Bentley's failure to find a new club has put a hold on Harry Redknapp's transfer plans this summer.

"We have to make way with one or two going first," Redknapp said.

"We are overloaded in one or two areas and if we can do that we will bring one or two in."
