Modibo Maiga pining for Newcastle move

Sochaux striker Modibo Maiga is desperate to finally complete a move to Newcastle. The St James' Park side have made a 7.6m GBP offer for the forward.

Maiga himself is desperate to join Newcastle and revealed: "I want it to be done with Newcastle. I want to leave - it is necessary that the president agrees to negotiate. I met everybody. They want me and it is not any club. England is a dream. I want to go."
