Liverpool and Arsenal in for Benayoun

Both Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in Israeli international midfielder Yossi Benayoun. The Chelsea man has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge and is expected to leave before the close of the transfer window.

Amongst other clubs interested in Benayoun; include French side Lille.

According to reports, Benayoun is most interested in a return to his former club Liverpool.

However, Arsene Wenger is known to be a big fan of the Israeli playmaker and is not put off by the 1m GBP price tag.
