Giovanni Bia, the agent of Federico Macheda, has admitted that Newcastle are also an option for his client. The Man Utd striker is expected to leave on loan before the football transfer window closes on Wednesday evening.

Macheda still has a future at Man Utd, but Sir Alex Ferguson has told the Italian to leave to garner more experience at another Premier League club.
