Aston Villa join Joe Cole race

Aston Villa are the latest team to be linked with a move for Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole. The England midfielder has also been linked with a move to Lille.

However, Sky Sports has reported that Joe Cole is also wanted by Aston Villa, who are willing to offer 5m GBP to sign the midfielder permanently.

Cole has reportedly already been in contact with Lille and has agreed in principle to move to France.
