Sunderland complete Bendtner deal
Sunderland have signed Nicklas Bendtner on loan until the end of the season. The Danish striker had been looking for a move away from the Emirates, but Arsenal received no suitable offers for the striker.
Bendtner joins Sunderland until the end of the season, and the Black Cats will pay his salary for the duration of the loan, and in addition, a nominal fee for the striker.
The move comes somewhat of a surprise, as Bendtner and Steve Bruce are believed to have a frosty relationship after Bendtner's breakup with Bruce's daughter three years ago.
