Cole dreams of regaining England place

Lille's newest signing Joe Cole hopes that moving to France will help him regain his place in the England team. The former Liverpool midfielder struggled at Anfield last year and has since moved to France.

Cole is hoping that a move to the Ligue 1 champions will reinvigorate his career: "In 10 games I'll be back playing my best football and I see no reason why I won't get back in the [England] team."

Lille have signed Cole as a replacement for Gervinho, who joined Arsenal earlier in the summer.
