Liverpool monitor Ricky van Wolfswinkel
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Ricky van Wolfswinkel this morning, the young 22 year old striker currently playing for Sporting Lisbon in Portugal.
Ricky van Wolfswinkel has already received his first cap for the full Dutch international side, but many football pundits expect the former Utrecht and Vitesse striker to be a regular in the Netherlands team in future.
A wonderful start to his Sporting Lisbon career has seen him score 6 goals in 7 games.
Such form has seen Liverpool and Man Utd monitor the exciting talent, and Liverpool could make a 6.5m GBP move for the player in January.
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is currently looking for backup strikers for Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez.
