Mark Hughes pines for Chelsea job
Mark Hughes has admitted that Chelsea would be his ideal destination should he return to Premier League management. Hughes quit his Fulham job this past summer.
Hughes had been persistently linked with a move to Chelsea, but that failed to materialize and instead the Blues brought in Andre Villas-Boas.
But Mark Hughes hasn't given hope that one day he could return to Chelsea, a club where he enjoyed a playing spell.
"It would be very nice," Hughes told Chelsea TV. "Chelsea is the club I have a very special affinity for. Obviously I had a fantastic time here as a player.
"As a manager you want to test yourself at the very top, so if in the future if it's ever possible for me to work here then I would be absolutely delighted to because it's an outstanding club."
