Liverpool chasing Seydou Keita

Liverpool could make a move for Barcelona's out of favour midfielder Seydou Keita during January. Seydou Keita recently admitted he was flattered to be linked with a switch to Anfield.
Keita, 31, is considering a move away from the Nou Camp despite reassurances from his coaching team that he was still an important member of the Barcelona squad.
But Keita himself is frustrated at his lack of first team football in recent months, particularly since the arrival of Cesc Fabregas from Arsenal, and could pursue a move elsewhere.
Liverpool are apparently ready to spend as much as 6.5m GBP to bring the Mali international to Anfield.
