Edinson Cavani on Man City's radar
Edinson Cavani on Man City's radar
Man City coach Roberto Mancini has been sufficiently impressed with the recent form of Uruguayan international forward Edinson Cavani, and is instructing his management team to make a sensational move for the Napoli hot shot.
On Tuesday, Cavani scored a brace to put Manchester City's Champions League hopes in jeopardy, and Mancini has now decided to make a shock move for the former Palermo striker.
Cavani is valued at 35m GBP by Napoli, but Man City could sign Cavani as a replacement for Tevez, who is expected to join an Italian side in the coming months. AC Milan and Juventus are the two teams favoured by Tevez for a move.
For Cavani, he could earn a massive 160,000 GBP salary in Manchester, almost double the amount he earns in Serie A.
