Arsenal in market for Nicolas N'Koulou

Arsenal's legion of talent signed from the French Ligue 1 could see another new addition come January, as the Gunners have decided to pursue the signature of Marseille defender Nicolas N'Koulou.

N'Koulou had only recently joined Marseille back in July of last year from relegated French giants Monaco, but Arsenal were interested in the powerhouse back then.


Arsenal have turned their attentions back to the centre back after a number of impressive performances for Marseille's reserve side and the player now finds himself on the cusp of a regular first team place.


The Cameroon international has been recommended to Wenger by international team mate Alex Song, and Arsenal will need to cough up as much as 5m GBP for his signature.
