Alex hands in Chelsea transfer request

Brazilian defender Alex has demanded a transfer away from Chelsea. The former PSV Eindhoven centre back has been phased out of Andre Villas-Boas' first team plans, and will now look for another club.

Juventus are believed to be in pole position to land the defender, but there will be no shortage of options for Alex as Paris St. Germain, Tottenham, AC Milan and Barcelona are all rumoured to have an interest.


Meanwhile, Alex's advisors have instructed Chelsea to help him find a new club and his asking price has been set at 7.5m GBP.
