Fabio Capello is happy with the Euroe 2012 that pits England with tournament hosts Ukraine, Sweden and France. The only downside is that England will have to travel from their home base of Krakow in Poland to Ukraine for their group stage matches.

England will remember back to past tournaments, when in Euro 2004, two late Zinedine Zidane goals condemned the Three Lions to defeat against their French neighbours, whilst in the World Cup of 2006, Sweden drew 2-2 with England thanks to a late Henrik Larsson leveller for the Swedes.

England do not have the best record in the major showpieces against France or Sweden.

Capello told the BBC: "Now we are here all the teams are very good. They have arrived in this position in the tournament because they are very good.

"Of the other groups, I think Group B is very difficult because Portugal, Germany and Holland are very tough. Probably the best group was Group A but we are happy with Group D. It is a tough group but better than Group B.

"Most difficult will be the first game against France. The first game is always difficult to play because of the pressure. A result will be very important."
