Paris St Germain keen on Carlo Ancelotti
Paris St. Germain will this weekend agree a package with current boss Antoine Kombouare, who is expected to be replaced with a new manager in the next week. The name at the top of director of football Leonardo's list appears to be former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The Italian manager has a strong relationship with Leonardo from their time working together in Serie A, and now Ancelotti is being lined up as the new coach of PSG.
Kombouare has so far struggled to impress PSG's billionaire Qatari owners with the French giants currently in sixth place in Ligue 1.
Ancelotti could be offered a lucrative contract worth around 60,000 GBP per week. The Italian has been out of work since the summer, when Chelsea parted company with the manager who led them to the league title only the season before that.
