Rijkaard: give stars peace

Frank Rijkaard has called on the media to leave Ronaldinho alone as the Brazilian has come under criticism for his partying antics and lack of fitness. The Barcelona boss has given Ronaldinho a vote of confidence.

"He has to be left in peace. He is the best in the world, but is not a robot," he said.

"I believe that has to choose what to do in his private life, but if he is left alone to do his job then he will silence a lot of the doubters."

Kluivert spent six years at Camp Nou and retains close to ties to the city and has been very impressed with the style of play under his compatriot, Frank Rijkaard.

"The football that Barça are playing is an art. They are playing very well. Barça are always superb."
