Shanghai confident of Drogba move from Chelsea

Shanghai Shenhua are confident that they can persuade Didier Drogba to complete a move to China from Chelsea. The Ivory Coast international is desperate to leave Stamford Bridge, according to reports.

Shenhua director Zhou Jun revealed: "Maybe we can complete a deal before Chinese New Year (January 23)."


Chelsea are not planning to offer the striker a new deal at Stamford Bridge, and would consider any offer more than 5 million GBP for the veteran striker.
