Tottenham target Swansea midfielder Joe Allen

Tottenham's transfer plans this month are expected to remain quiet, but according to The People, Spurs could make an offer for impressive Swansea City midfielder Joe Allen at the end of the season.

Joe Allen has been a star performer for The Swans this year, with the midfielder proving himself to be a very useful player in the centre of midfield; and equally helpful in both attacking and defensive duties.


Allen currently has a contract until 2015 with Swansea, and Brendan Rodgers has planned to build his squad around the Welsh international. However, Rodgers knows that Allen has plans to move to a bigger club eventually; and today's news story suggests the club have already valued the 21-year-old at around £10 million.
