Aston Villa eye Ivica Olic move

Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish has earmarked Croatian striker Ivica Olic as a possible transfer signing in the January transfer window. The Bayern Munich man's contract will expire at the Allianz Arena and the Villains are watching closely.

Aston Villa scout Glenn Roeder was spotted at two Bayern Munich games recently, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Croatian in action.


However, first team opportunities have been limited for Olic this year and he has mainly spent time on the bench.


The 32-year-old has a glowing reputation in Europe and is desperate to make the move to England to wrap up his career.
