Arsenal manager to lodge FIFA Vermaelen complaint
Arsenal manager to lodge FIFA Vermaelen complaint
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could lodge an official complaint to FIFA after Thomas Vermaelen returned from international duty having aggravated an ankle complaint. The Belgian will now miss this weekend's game against Liverpool.
"I will look at putting a complaint in because they forced the payer to travel first and then to play 90 minutes after being injured," said Wenger.
"They had a centre-back on the bench who did not play at all - in a friendly game. They are not at the Euro Championships and it is very difficult for me to understand."
