Brendan Rodgers laughs off move talk
Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers has no plans to leave The Liberty Stadium, after seemingly securing Premier League status for next season. Rodgers has emerged as a shock target for Chelsea.
Rodgers already has a history at Stamford Bridge, where he was previously the youth team boss for the Blues. Recently, Brendan signed a brand new contract with Swansea City, who currently lie 8th in the Premier League table.
"I am ambitious and I want to win trophies and I want to be around a long time.
"I'm realistic and know there will most likely come a time when I leave Swansea. But my only goals at the moment involve Swansea City," said Rodgers.
"It's obviously nice to get the praise that I am getting, but I take it all with a pinch of salt."
