Grant: we will get better

Avram Grant has insisted that Chelsea will continue to improve. Grant has ordered his Chelsea side to be more ruthless in front of goal as they continue their Premiership recovery. Grant also praised Drogba for his goal.

The Chelsea boss said: "I cannot say I am disappointed after we won 2-0, but in the last games we have created many chances and we haven't scored from, say, 50 per cent of the chances, so we can improve that. We want to play better football and to win games, we are on the right way."

He added: "But it is step by step. You cannot do it in one day, but we are in a good way, on the right way.

"We want to play like this - we can play even better. But what is important is from game-to-game we are playing better."

Avram was delighted with Drogba's goal and form, and insisted there was no problem between himself and the player: "I do not know why you say 'problem', he is not a problematic guy, and that's what is important.

"I don't know what will happen in the future, I can only say to you what I say to the players: for me, it is a great honour for the players, and also for me, to belong to a club like Chelsea.

"It is a great club and if someone has problems, their only way is to knock on my door and say what's happening, and then we will find the solution. Other ways, I don't like."
