Arsenal tracking Alessandro Matri

According to reports Arsenal have been preparing a move for Italian striker Alessandro Matri. The Juventus forward has been linked with a move away from Italy this week and it appears that England is his preferred destination.

Matri is somewhat of a late bloomer, and has only just made his mark in Serie A since joining Juve from Cagliari. 


It's understood that Chelsea are also interested in the €8.5m rated frontman, who has burst onto the international scene in 2011.
