Chamakh hopes to kickstart career at West Ham
Marouane Chamakh is hoping to kickstart his career at West Ham, after officially completling a loan move from Arsenal until the end of the season. The Moroccan striker has endured a difficult time since arriving at the Emirates from Bordeaux.
In the French Ligue 1, Chamakh helped Bordeaux to a league title and finished as top scorer; but in the Premier League the striker has so far failed to impress.
Subsequently, the forward has decided to make a move elsewhere.
Chamakh said of his move: "I didn't have opportunities to play recently, but I did well before and I know I am a very good striker. We played only one striker at Arsenal, so I didn't play a lot, so I hope to do so more with West Ham."
