Arsenal star Theo Walcott deal done?

Arsenal star Theo Walcott has reportedly already signed a new contract at the Emirates Stadium, and the Gunners will officially announce his five year contract this afternoon.

There had been some speculation that the England international would end his 6 year stay at the Gunners for a move elsewhere. However, the talented winger has been impressed with Arsene Wenger's fight to keep him at the club and is delighted that he has been able to play in a central forward role in recent weeks.


The former Southampton star had been linked with a move to both Liverpool and Man Utd, but seems happy enough to continue his career with the Reds.


Walcott has reportedly been given a contract worth 90,000 GBP per month whilst he will also receive a 3m GBP signing on fee.
