Redknapp explains Tottenham sacking

QPR manager Harry Redknapp is sure that his Tottenham sacking is nothing to do with the way that he managed the team. Redknapp has just started as R's manager tasked with the job of rescuing them from relegation.

"Yeah, it was political," the QPR manager admitted. "I've got my own feelings about what happened but it's difficult for me to say."


Tottenham have apparently been contacted by Redknapp with regards to QPR taking some players on loan, and youngster Jake Livermore could make a switch later in the month to join his former manager at Loftus Road.
