Kader Mangane seals Sunderland loan

Sunderland have won the race to secure the signing of Kader Mangane on loan until the end of the season. Newcastle were believed to be interested at the last minute, but he has chosen their bitter rivals intead.

The 29-year-old defender agreed terms with the Black Cats last night.


"Kader is a player who will add to the overall strength of our squad and give us options," said the Sunderland manager.


"He will improve competition for places and we are delighted to welcome him to the club."
