Tottenham target Eriksen won't extend Ajax deal

Ajax midfielder Cristian Eriksen will quit the club once his deal expires, leaving the door open for a move to the Premier League. Liverpool and Tottenham are interested in the Dane.

Widely regarded as one of the finest young prospects in European football, the attacking midfielder has been targeted by several Premier League sides.


Eriksen himself is reportedly a Manchester United fan, but at this time Sir Alex Ferguson has yet to make a bid for the Danish international. Instead, Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is known to be making initial moves to bring the youngster to White Hart Lane at the end of the season.
