Newcastle star Krul out for season

Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul will be out of action for the remainder of the season, after injuring his shoulder against bitter rivals Sunderland in a 3-0 defeat at St James' Park at the weekend.

Krul will now miss the remaining five games of the season, a bitter blow for the Toon who are now in the midst of a relegation dogfight.


The 25-year-old will be replaced by Tom Elliot for the remainder of the campaign.
