Dempsey eyes top four finish for Tottenham

Tottenham striker Clint Dempsey is hopeful that the recent good form of Spurs will continue and his side will finish in the top four as they chase a Champions League qualification spot.

USA and Tottenham striker Clint Dempsey is confident that Spurs will finish ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League and seal a Champions League top four place.


After the 3-1 over Man City at the weekend, Dempsey said: "The (City) result gives us a lift and hopefully we'll now get on a good run of form."


"It was a great spell to play in. Quick goals, three different players scored and that gives confidence to the team. Hopefully the result will give us that push for the final five matches of the season as we try to get into the top four."
