West Ham chasing Maynor Figueroa

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is confident that he can sign Maynor Figueroa from Wigan this summer - but only if the Latics are relegated to the Championship. With two games to go, Wigan are currently three points behind their next best rivals in 17th spot.

Figueroa has been impressive since joining from Olimpia in 2008, and the Honduras international would be available on a free transfer this summer.


The full back is currently injured and will not be part of Wigan's FA Cup final team who play against Manchester City this afternoon.
