Alex McCarthy wants Reading stay

Highly rated goalkeeper Alex McCarthy has no plans to quit Reading despite being linked with a sensational move to Arsenal and Chelsea in the summer.

"But I have still got two years left at Reading. They are my club at the moment so we will have to see what the future holds," said McCarthy.


The defender has shown flashes of brilliance at the Madjeski Stadium this year, but is desperate to stay in the Premier League.
