Radamel Falcao to seal Monaco move

Colombia international Radamel Falcao's representatives have agreed a deal in principle with French side Monaco. The ambitious newly promoted side have agreed a 65 million Euro deal with Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea and Man City were in the race to sign Falcao but the striker has decided instead to move to Ligue 1. Also a club spokesman at Monaco confirmed that there would be no sell on clauses or release clauses in his contract: "No, there's no clause. Radamel believes in our project. It's almost done, there are just some details to be finalised."


Monaco are expected to shell out over 200 million Euros on new players this summer as their wealthy Russian owner plans to bring the club back to the big time.
